Here is an example: I have a 6 k deductible and out of pocket per year. I have met that financial responsibility in April..after that I should be covered at 100%. I was hospitalized in November and I am looking at a $891 bill for treatment in November. Upon calling them, "oh, sir that is the patient's responsibility". How could I be at 100% midyear and not at end of year. "Sir, we had a coding error on our side on one of your earlier claims which took you out of the 100% coverage status, but we have fixed that error"..but $891 is still my responsibility? "yes", but that was due to your mistake "Let me investigate..." People running this company should all be arrested... | |
