| | My Sony G400 Saga Continues... (22nd Jun 18 at 10:38am UTC) | | Hello,
If you read most of the threads here, you've probably seen my ocassional notes about my G400 difficulties in various applicable threads. Basically, I'm on my 3rd one and probably am going to ask for a 4th. But before I do, I want to make sure that the problem isn't from another source. Staples has been very cooperative so far, but this is getting rediculous and I'd like to wrap it ASAP. My latest G400 is great, very sharp and good color, except for the right side of the display, which looks dingy and has a brown tint. I would automatically assume this to be a monitor issue, except that I noticed something very odd when using the TV-out to watch a DVD tonight. The TV also looked brownish on the right half, which leads me to believe that my video card is possibly the problem. Its a Radeon 64 MB DDR, pretty much brand new. I don't remember noticing this anomaly on the previous G400, but its possible I overlooked it in light of its many other defects. Can such a thing as this be caused by a video card malfunction? I'm going to borrow a monitor form RMSzero tomarrow to be sure. I've removed every possible source of magnetic fields from the vicinity of the monitor and the spot remains. It seems to move around too, sometime concentrated at the bottom, sometimes at the top or the center. Right now its not really concentrated anywhere, its jsut a large dingy splotch.
Please help
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

As crazy iTunes fan, I'm used to purchase and rent the latest movies/TV shows from iTunes store, but there is no right for me to play all these videos on Apple unauthorized devices like Android phone, Windows media player, Google play, etc. Fortunately, now I got a DRM removal program-iTunes M4V Video Converter to help me remove DRM from iTunes and convert videos from M4V to MP4 and multiple compatible formats without hampering the quality. Now you can check more info at: https://www.tuneskit.com | |
