Plug in Chromecast: Connect your Chromecast device to an available HDMI port on your TV. Plug the USB power cable into the Chromecast and connect the other end to a power source.
Switch TV Input: Use your TV remote to switch to the HDMI input where your Chromecast is connected.
Download the Google Home App: On your smartphone or tablet, download and install the Google Home app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
Open Google Home App: Open the Google Home app and sign in with your Google account.
Set Up a New Device: Tap the "+" or "Add" button to set up a new device. Select "Set up device" and then choose "Set up new devices in your home."
Verify Code: The app will ask if the code on your TV matches the code on your device. Confirm that the codes match.
Connect to Wi-Fi: Choose the Wi-Fi network you want to connect your Chromecast to. Enter the Wi-Fi password if prompted.
Choose Device Location: Select the room or location where your Chromecast is located.
Sign in to Google Account: Sign in to your Google account on the Google Home app.
Set Up Google Assistant (Optional): Follow the prompts to set up Google Assistant if you wish.
Name Your Chromecast: Give your Chromecast a name for easier identification.
Explore Chromecast Features: Once setup is complete, you can explore additional features and settings in the Google Home app.
